Genevie Aaker

Genevie graduated from the Baylor University Honors College with distinction and a B.S. in Neuroscience and a minor in Religion. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration with an emphasis in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Memphis, where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA.

She has worked and served in several nonprofit agencies and medical practices across Waco, Memphis, and San Antonio, including St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and United Way of Bexar County. She now works alongside her husband of 16 years, Dr. Matt Aaker, as the Managing Partner of The Eyeglass Shop.

In her role, she combines her passion for organizational growth with her expertise as an optician and optometric technician to curate fashionable eyewear for our patients.

Deeply involved in her community, Genevie serves in marriage and prayer ministries at Crossbridge Community Church, acts as a Girl Scout troop leader, serves on the Executive Board of her local PTA, and is a board member of Meant to Soar.

A San Antonio native, Genevie has a heart for serving others and, most of all, loves being a mom to her two daughters, Sophia and Stella.
