Dr. Aaker has been licensed by the Texas Optometry Board as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. He enjoys seeing patients of all ages while providing expert vision care including hard to fit contact lenses. He is skilled in the treatment and management of macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye, ocular allergies, contact lens related infections, and foreign body removal. He passionately believes all children should have the best start in life by having yearly eye exams.

Dr. Matt Aaker

Dr. Aaker was born and raised in southern California before receiving the President’s Scholarship to attend Baylor University. During college, he discovered his passion for eye care and creating a thriving optometric practice that provides an exceptional patient experience. At Baylor, he would meet his beautiful and talented wife, Genevie before attending Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Dr. Aaker received a scholarship for attaining a perfect score in the science section of the Optometry Admissions Test.
